File preparation
Prepare artwork files that move smoothly into production.
Good files reduce delays. Send print-ready PDFs whenever possible, or packaged source files with fonts and linked images included.
Basic file requirements
- Use CMYK color mode for print files
- Include bleed, commonly 3 mm or 0.125 in
- Keep important text away from trim edges
- Export high-quality PDF files when possible
Images & fonts
- Use high-resolution images, normally 300 dpi at final size
- Outline fonts or include font files in packaged artwork
- Embed linked images or provide the original links
Before upload
- Name files clearly by product and version
- Include dielines for packaging and labels
- Tell us if colors are Pantone or brand-critical
